Mount Batur Sunrise offers you the wonderful sights of active volcano.
“Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out going to the mountains is going home; that wilderness is a necessity…” ― John Muir
A wonderful sight
Preferred to Mt.Agung, the other titan of the island, for its jaw dropping view and friendlier settings, Mt.Batur sits in the region of Singaraja, Bali, its head in the clouds and its feet in the eponymous twin lake. Declared part of the UNESCO Global Geopark Network in 2012, the volcano is grand for everything trekking.
A perfect trekking experience
The ascension usually takes place between 2 a.m. and 12 a.m., when all the condition are optimal. The area’s fresher climate and pure mountain air, combined with the wow-ing view are the perfect combination for an early morning climb. Why morning? For the sunrise of course! Who amongst your friend can boast about morning sun gazing on the top of a volcano? You could be the first if you inquire now!
